Welcome to the Summer Village of Kapasiwin. The Village of Wabamun Beach (renamed Village of Kapasiwin Beach July 20, 1918) was incorporated during the second session of the Alberta Legislature and assended to October 25, 1913. The Village is located at the eastern end of lake Wabamun (Cree word for White Whale Lake) 42 kilometers west of Edmonton. If you are interested in more history of the village a paperback copy of the History of the Summer Village of Kapasiwin can be purchased from the Administrator.
